A Little about Robert Abboud
Robert Abboud, a Jordanian filmmaker. His passion for film started at a young age when he first started acquiring film techniques while watching movies. He then studied filmmaking at the SAE Institute in Jordan and continued his graduate studies at the Middlesex University UK. His passion for directing didn’t stop there; he took acting and performance to another level by studying Acting for film at the New York Film Academy in Hollywood, California. He also obtained a scholarship in Ireland for a summer school in Cinema Human Rights. He released a short one-take film called “A Cold Morning In November”, which got into the Cannes Film Festival (Short Film Corner) for the 68th edition 2015. His film won both the jury and audience awards in the Franco Arab Film Festival for best one-take narrative film. He got invited to the Noisy-le-sec film festival in France to represent his prize-winning film. Robert is currently working as a freelance filmmaker and will keep on producing new films that tackle a lot of human rights issues and authentic human behaviors and mentalities.
